The Wondervu Café is an iconic Mexican restaurant established in 1976 and located along the scenic Coal Creek Canyon in Golden, CO. Guests come to the Wondervu Café for the incredible service and stunning views from the top of the canyon. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner including a full bar.

Job Purpose:

Kitchen Managers oversee supervising, scheduling, and training of kitchen staff as well as ordering inventory each week. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and comfortable work environment and an organized kitchen. Kitchen Managers are offered between $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

- Responsible for food cost management, labor efficiency, and guest experience
- Schedule all kitchen staff weekly
- Maintain Department of Health Standards, being a role model of cleanliness and holding team members accountable
- Field guest feedback and convert into actionable goals for the kitchen staff

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Kitchen Management role or similar is preferred though not required
- Hold a certificate in ServSafe Food Handler Manager or comparable
- Extremely organized and thorough
- Skilled at providing helpful and constructive feedback, as well as being able to receive feedback
- Able to keep a level head and calmly guide staff through stressful scenarios
- Possess ownership of actions and decisions
